About Us

The Ovations were established following calls from Canberra and Queanbeyan’s theatrical and dance communities for an awards process specifically designed to acknowledge excellence in local, independent performing arts. 

We have listened to those calls and will continue to respond to the growing needs of those communities.

We are an incorporated not for profit community association run by a committee and panel of judges, all of whom donate their time, expertise and experience.
